Our public schools depend on education support professionals to function properly. These professionals -- secretaries, custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, teachers aides and so many others – are often the first and last person who interact with our children every day at school. On Wednesday, November 19, we honor these professionals, who are so often the heart of their schools, during the annual Education Support Professionals (ESP) Day. This annual event shines light on the support professionals who keep Florida's great public schools running smoothly and who fill an important role for students and teachers. Teachers and administrators could not do their jobs without the work they do. Take this opportunity to thank education support professionals for their tremendous contributions to our school communities.
